Released on FC 666 (FC006), May 2010

I had not heard of Lowtalker when I first saw them, opening for Strike Anywhere and Bane in June 2010. What I got was one of my favourite EPs of 2010. To put it short: this is the kind of music I wish I could write. It's strong, it's deep and energetic.

What I particularly liked about this record: The overall sound. I hope to see them again sometime soon
edit - august 3rd 2009: just a few hours after I wrote this, Lowtalker announced a show in Montreal in just a few weeks. So now I'm going to write "I hope to win the lottery soon"

What I did not really like: Too short! I could sure use a full length! Also sometimes it feels like the vocalist can't quite hit the notes, but I guess it adds to the charm

The best songs: (in tracklisting order): Eulogy, Near Disaster and Optional Medecine

Back in business

So I have updated this in far too long... but better late than never... right?

I'm going to try to update this thing somewhat regularly, as regularly as I buy new records ideally. I'll uploads some of my latest purchases.

Sorry about the show reviews though... I've attended far too many shows to remember at this point...
